JOB DESCRIPTION:
The Project Manager is a key player in the development process. The right candidate will have the opportunity to fully participate in the end product and have an impact in helping us build great neighborhoods. We are looking for someone to join our team of seasoned professionals who can bring their creativity and experience to the table.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, obtaining entitlements, preparing for public hearings, contributing to the design and development of our projects and coordinating the efforts of design consultants including: architects, landscape architects, civil engineers, structural engineers etc.

JOB REQUIREMENTS:
The ideal candidate will have at least 7 years of mid to senior level forward planning/development experience in the home building industry or equivalent experience with a governmental agency, as well as a college degree. We are looking for someone with in-depth knowledge of the industry who has outstanding written and oral communication skills, is self-motivated, able to manage multiple tasks and work independently.
COMPENSATION:
We offer an excellent compensation package including vacation, medical benefits, 401K and profit sharing. The compensation is a six-figure base plus bonus.

Qualifications: Minimum of 2 years experience in professional urban planning or community development. Knowledge of public financing, and principles of sustainability, smart growth and public-private partnerships.
Knowledge: The preferred candidate should possess excellent organization and communication skills including verbal and written competency. Computer proficiency in Microsoft Office suites.
Academic Experience: Degree in urban planning, public administration or related field required.
Duties: Include but not limited to identify capital projects needs for disaster-CDBG funding; evaluate project eligibility for determining operational feasibility; knowledge of rules and regulation governing allocation of 24 CFR Part 570) and LRA administered funds through Long Term Community Recovery Program; Prepare pre-application material and participate in the application review process with state Office of Community Development; coordinate the environmental review process; engage in other technical work involving strategic land use planning, urban design and mapping, real estate and economic development analysis; prepare reports and briefings on the status of recovery projects to public officials and the community; monitoring of programmatic aspects of funding grant agreements assuring compliance with requirements and deliverables; respond proactively to programmatic challenges and issues; coordinates responses and reports to auditors and federal and state governmental entities.
